The architects of East Kilbride's Development Corp and the post-war New Town

A series of short essays on the diverse and fascinating work of a selection of Scotland’s talented local architects and architects’ departments.

The Dictionary of Scottish Architects is an online dictionary that covers the period 1600-1980 with full biographical details and comprehensive job lists for many architects, architectural practices and public sector architects’ departments in Scotland.

Through a series short essays we are drawing attention to a number of individuals in the Dictionary of Scottish Architects who have received little attention so far in standard published texts.
