Climate Change Case Study: Inchcolm Island Marine Litter Study

The case study presents the detailed analysis of the litter collected on Inchcolm Island over the course of a number of months in 2019.

Between May and September 2019, staff undertook periodic surveys and clearances of marine litter on South Beach, Inchcolm Island. This case study presents and categorises the types of waste found. It includes observations about specific types of commonly found items, and how they impact on the natural environment.
